Our new receptionist

Beverley, our new receptionist

Well she’s stayed all morning so we should really introduce you to Beverley, our new volunteer receptionist.labe

In the real world, Beverley is a secretary in the University of Essex’s Estates and Campus Services department.

She has decided to volunteer here on her day off – we think that’s pretty marvelous.

In the picture she is putting labels on “BeeBombs” that are going to be / were sold (depending when you read this) at Carols on the Farm – tickets still available if you are reading this before 7 Dec 2018.

Beverley can only be with us one day a week, so still need more volunteer receptionists and admin people. You can find out more here.

And if you’re wondering what a beebomb is, they “contain 18 species of wildflowers, native to Britain and confirmed by the RHS as ‘perfect for pollinators'”

You just throw them into cleared ground and wait for your wild flowers to grow. Magic!
